If you are thinking that you are going to be able to just zoom through the museum I am here to tell you that you are still going to need a day. The great thing thought is that once you are pass the security, the design of the Louvre museum and it’s underground entrance is made to accommodate everything. There will be cafes to shops. There is no need to exit the premise until you are completely done. Take your time, take food breaks and take everything in. There’s even an Angelina’s inside the museum.
BEST TIME TO GO
The best time to visit the Louvre Museum is mornings and evenings. This will be the least crowded hours of the day – try going early in the morning or around 3 PM.
MAP
Download the map. There are 3 wings and 4 floors, you can easily get lost. Here’s a tip beside every art piece there is a color coded number. The colors and number coincide with the map and you can locate yourself on the map this way.
These tips allowed us to enjoy our visit to the Louvre museum. I was able to see the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Psyche Revived by Cupid’s Kiss, Winged Victory of Samothrace and so much more. I will definitely visit the museum any time I am in Paris.
