Are you ready for Fall? I am but of course I’m bias because I was born in October! Fall brings about not only cooler weather but Fall activities. Autumn is for carving pumpkins, fire pits and s’more, apple cider, football, amazing sunsets and of course leaves changing to beautiful colors before their fall!
Fall also brings about the time of year where we snuggle up and watch a movie or binge watch a show. I am patiently waiting for the last season of On My Block that comes out this month! If you can’t decide on what to watch check out my list of 100 Teen Movies to Watch.
What’s your favorite Fall Activity? Here’s my list of the best Fall Activities in Georgia:
Pumpkin Patch
This is the probably the ultimate fall activity. Pumpkin patches are great for hay rides, enjoying cider and of course picking a pumpkin. The joy of visiting a pumpkin patch is that the fun continues when you return home as you get to carve, paint or bake your pumpkin. My choice location for pumpkin picking is Burt’s Pumpkin Farm. The farm has a great variety of pumpkins to choose from in all different sizes, shapes and colors.
For an extra spooky pumpkin patch visit the Pumpkin Patch at the Historic Oakland Cemetery between October 9 and 10, 2021. For additional information visit Pumpkin Patch at Oakland Cemetery.

Apple Picking
There are several of Apple Orchards in the North Georgia and it is must fall activity. The orchards will have many types apple to select from including Crimson Crisp, Golden Delicious, Pink Lady & Rome Beauty. I highly recommend visiting the orchard website for an updated list of selection before visiting. After visiting BJ Reece Apple House and Orchard recently, it quickly became my fav. We were able to ride the hay ride, go down the large slide, watch the pigs race and see some livestock. If you do visit BJ Reece don’t forget to stop at the bakery for some delicious treats.

Haunted House
With October approaching many will begin to prepare for Halloween and what better way to get into the spirit of Halloween than to visit a Haunted House. Georgia has it fair share of haunted houses located through out the state but nothing compares to Netherworld. Netherworld has been my favorite for years as it provides good scares, it is massive and the outdoor area is just as entertaining as the indoor attraction. Celebrating its 25th year, Netherworld has also done a great job of keeping the public safe during the pandemic and changing the attraction to feel new each year. For more info on the extra safety precautions and schedule entry times visit October Fun! Netherworld Haunted House.
