I often walk past the shows when I visit a theme park because my mind is usually heavily focused on what to ride next. With my recent visit to Universal Orlando I stopped and enjoyed more than my fair share of shows. The wonderful thing about Universal Orlando is that shows are happening all around you. From the Blue Brothers and Beat Builders popping up from nowhere to the permanent Horror Make-Up Show theatre. They are every where and they do not disappoint.
Although the shows may not be my top priority, to skip them all together is a horrible idea. Poseidon Fury has a entire land themed around it at Islands of Adventure. While the Wizarding World of Harry Potter also has quite a few shows that are not to be missed. On my next visit I plan to stop to see a few more.
Here are a few reason why you should too stop to watch a show on your next visit.
1. Very Entertaining Shows
With a lot of the theme parks, especially those in Florida the parks are themed around their Parent Company. Universal Orlando is no exception. By Universal Studios being an entertainment company the production value of the shows are top notch and outstanding. On my recent trip I was highly impressed with The Bourne Stuntacular show. It was a combination of live action with film. There was a seamless quality between the two, providing a unique experience I’d never seen before.
2. Air Condition Theaters
While most of the show may be in an outside theatre, a few are in well air condition theatre. This is a major perk as the weather in Florida is typically between hot and hotter. Remember if you feel overheated all the stores and restaurants have air as well. Universal Orlando also does a good job of making sure that most queues are inside or at least covered.
3. Good Place to Rest
Alot of times people are always on the go while at the parks. I find that if I am going to sit down on a bench to rest I can easily rest my feet by going to see a show. This way I am enjoying the park while getting some much needed rest out of the sun.
I enjoy going to the parks as often as I can, I am already mentally planning my next trip and looking forward to Universal Studios’s next park Epic Universe.
