This weekend I visited Southern Belle Farm to pick flowers. I’ve seen all the beautiful picture people have taken in the fields of flowers and I wanted to do the same. And if there is something I see online that seems fun, I am probably going to want to do it. Southern Belle Farm was the perfect place to go picking flowers too. There were endless fields.
While this trip to Southern Belle Farm was strictly for flower picking, the farm offers much more. Depending on the season the activities change. Although being outside in this Georgia heat can take a toll, I braved the heat and the bees. While at the farm, I feel in love with the flowers and would like to go back on a much cooler day. My silly self visited Southern Belle Farm in 95 degree weather.
We were offered two options for flower picking, both included scissors. A souvenir cup or a standard bucket. We opted for the bucket as it was only $5 more than the cup. Although the bucket was not a souvenir, with the bucket you are offered unlimited flower picking. For more information on pricing visit here.
If you plan on visiting I recommend bringing water, don’t the sunscreen and insect repellent. Wear comfortable shoes as well, you will be climbing into the thick of it. There are no clear paths in the flower areas, so you will have to climb over flowers to get to the ones you want. Because I had such a great time, I do plan to visit again during the other seasons. I will probably take my nieces. I’m sure they will enjoy the many activities.
